Sumitomo Corporation established steel service centers in Japan during the 60's to provide just-in-time steel sheet delivery. As customers relocated plants overseas in the 70's, we expanded globally. Today, we manage 25 companies operating 47 service centers worldwide, processing up to 7 million tons of steel annually.
